Confirm Your Eligibility

We want to make sure this scholarship reaches the right future tradespeople — here’s what we’re looking for:

Resident of British Columbia
Enrolled in or planning to attend a trade school or apprenticeship
Between the ages of 16–24
Either a high-school student, post-secondary student, or an adult returning to the trades

How to Apply

You can apply in whichever way lets you express yourself best.

Choose one of the following options:

Short Essay

Write a short essay responding to the prompt: “What inspired you to pursue a career in the trades?” Share your story, what motivates you, or how you see yourself contributing to your community through skilled trades work.

Video Submission

If you’re more comfortable showing rather than writing, record a short video. Show us a hands-on project you’ve completed, a skill you’re developing, or simply talk about what drew you to the trades. You can upload your video directly or include a link (YouTube, Google Drive, or similar).

Add Optional Documents

You’re welcome (but not required) to include:

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or employer
  • A copy of your transcript if you’re currently in school or a trade program

These help us get to know you better, but they won’t make or break your application.
